Rise and Bloom Humanity Foundation marks 2026 International Women’s Day with “Give to Gain” Outreach

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, the Rise and Bloom Humanity Foundation, led by its Chairman and Founder Lady Edu Victor Antai, carried out a humanitarian outreach to selected health facilities in Uruan and Oron Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State.

The outreach focused on supporting women receiving maternal and reproductive healthcare. Members of the Foundation visited several hospital wards including the antenatal, labour, postnatal, maternity, and gynaecology wards, where they interacted with patients and healthcare workers, offering encouragement and financial support to pregnant women, nursing mothers, and other female patients.

A key highlight of the visit was the recognition of a dedicated health workers whose compassion and professionalism in caring for mothers and newborns was acknowledged by the Foundation, a gesture aimed at encouraging empathy and commitment among healthcare workers.

Speaking during the outreach, Lady Edu Victor Antai noted that the initiative reflects the true spirit of the International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain.” She emphasized that supporting women, particularly mothers and those receiving healthcare, contributes to stronger families and healthier communities. She also reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to reaching vulnerable members of society through meaningful humanitarian interventions.

The outreach impacted hundreds of patients and hospital staff across the two facilities, bringing both support and encouragement to those in need. Through initiatives like this, the Rise and Bloom Humanity Foundation continues to promote compassion, service, and empowerment within communities.
